FACTORY REQUIRED MAINTENANCE

Mechanic

Wouldn’t you rather take your vehicle to your local and trusty mechanic? We understand what a pain it can be to take your car in to your local dealership to have it serviced for factory required maintenance. It takes longer, it’s a hassle to get in and out and it’s typically out of the way. Our team of mechanics make factory required repairs as painless and seamless as possible by keeping up with recent requirements so you don’t have to. Let us worry about your car, truck or SUV, while you go on with your day.

Regular factory scheduled maintenance is very important to keep your vehicle running as it should, however you do not have to go to a dealership for this maintenance and it might be more convenient for you to come to your trusted local mechanic. We’ll never try to sell you on parts or services that you don’t need.

The car’s service manual is the best way to learn how to maintain your car. We only recommend that work be done when a part needs to be repaired or when the service manual indicates that factory required maintenance is required. Car owners usually become aware of the need for routine maintenance at certain mileage intervals. These intervals are described in the owner’s manual or in our car maintenance section.

We understand the importance of your vehicle warranty and our mechanics are very experienced in warranty needs and requirements and how best to service your vehicle.

According to the Federal Trade Commission, an independent mechanic may perform routine maintenance and repairs on your vehicle. In fact, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which is enforced by the FTC, makes it illegal for manufacturers or dealers to claim that your warranty is void or to deny coverage under your warranty simply because someone other than the dealer did the work.
